Experience with a 69-Ton Heavy Equipment Unit
A single 69-ton unit cannot be treated as container cargo: lifting, center of gravity, lashing, vessel selection and port handling each constrain the plan. We designed the movement step by step — weight → dimensions → center of gravity → lifting → lashing → vessel → port → inland transport — instead of quoting a generic rate. Flat rack and open top containers, breakbulk and heavy lift vessels, and special road transport with permits and escorts are selected per unit — not quoted from a generic rate card. Client and route details are withheld in this first phase.
